U-Need-A Bottle Service Ltd. receives liquor orders on behalf of Licensees and other Clients. U-Need-A Bottle Service then places these orders. It is the responsibility of the person(s) placing the order to follow the rules and regulations set forth by the Liquor Control Act of British Columbia. Any violations of the Liquor Control Act may result in penalties.
Once U-Need-A Bottle Service have submitted the order to the Liquor Distribution Brand (the LDB), the responsibility of filling each order correctly belongs solely to the LDB. The government LDB may not have available ALL the products requested at the time of shipping. In this case the LDB will only charge for the products actually shipped.
It is U-Need-A Bottle’s POLICY that the LDB check and seal each case before they are shipped. If upon delivery the seal is broken, the delivery driver must assume responsibility of the product. In the event the cases were not sealed before shipping, the responsibility belongs to both the driver and the LDB employee shipping the order.
U-Need-A Bottle is a carrier company only. Every order U-Need-A Bottle Service picks up, U-Need-A Bottle Service assumes responsibility for the product paid. U-Need-A Bottle is additionally responsible for any breakage caused between the point of pickup form the LDB and the drop off location.
Once the product has been delivered to the designated drop-off location, U-Need-A Bottle Service is no longer responsible for the product. The licensee/Client is responsible for any breakage or theft at this point. When doing a “product return”, the Manager of the LDB location PRIOR to the product going back MUST approve the product being returned. (See Customer Return Forms.) U-Need-A Bottle drivers may not take a product back for a return WITHOUT a completed Customer Return Form attached to the product. This form MUST have the signed approval of the LDB store Manager including a full description of the returned product.
